Stubborn nonchalance
Pushing against an impenetrably thick, simplistically brittle wall of clear glass...
Chest feels heavy with guilt and self loathing,
while the mind is stuck in the inertia of the stubborn child...
Freedom and capture embrace each other in an exploitation of my conflicted mind...
Time passes by, requesting, jeering, persuading, smiling,
as I look desperately for the courage I cannot seem to find...
